The Dangers of Prophecy
I have seen many Christians go from one prophet to another seeking a word from the Lord. I believe this does not please God. Why? Because we are seek him. We are not to seek a prophet's word.
Of course it is proper, even essential, for a Christian to seek God's will. But it is wrong to seek prophecy. Why? If wee seek after a prophetic word, we are seeking His will solely through a mediator. We must allow God to communicate His will to us through whatever means He chooses.
